High school sweethearts Sena and Caleb founded Salon Sidera to pave the way for stylists to find their freedom and voice again in this industry. After being behind the chair for nearly a decade Sena felt it was time for a change, and with the support of Caleb, Sidera was born. With Sena’s education background, and Caleb having a computer science and social media background we knew as a team we could create the perfect environment to empower the independent stylist.

Why the Name Sidera?
You probably have already noticed from her social’s, Sena’s tattoos, and now the Salon, that she is a little obsessed with stars.
When we had to come up with a name Sena wanted something that sounded happy, warm, and inviting, but also something that has meaning.
Caleb did some digging and found the word Sidera. In Latin it roughly translates to constellation, a group of bright stars, or luminous.
We felt this had great meaning and alligned with what we wanted out of a salon! What we want most out of this Salon is to bring people together, illuminate people’s beauty not only on the outside but on the inside too. We are all bright stars within and it’s our goal to make each and everyone shine on the outside.
